The Primus Grand Hotel is named after the famous Roman Empire general Marcus Antonius Primus who made known the name of Ptuj throughout the world. Ptuj, the oldest city in Slovenia, attracts visitors thanks to its rich cultural and historic heritage, culinary delicacies and healing thermal water. Ptuj's cultural and historical heritage is immense. The mighty Castle of Ptuj reigns upon the hill and at its foothill there are the Dominican and Minorit monasteries, the Monument of Orpheus, the town's Tower, St. George's Church, the Town Hall and the wine cellar boasting almost 800 years of tradition. The heart of the Grand Hotel Primus is Valens Augusta Wellness: Vespasianus Thermal Pools, Flavia Saunas and Imperium of Well-Being. The Vespasianus Area consists of a pool with an outdoor exit, a children's pool and 2 whirlpools. In the Flavia Saunas Baths you will enjoy the magic of the Roman thermal tradition. The mighty Castle of Ptuj reigns upon the hill and at its foothill there are the Dominican and Minorit monasteries, the Monument of Orpheus, the Town Hall and the wine cellar boasting almost 800 years of tradition. In this wine cellar the oldest Slovenian wine from 1917, the Golden Wine, is stored.

Ceremonial dinners and wine tasting are regularly arranged for visitors who stay for more than 5 days. Even if you are only coming for a day, you can still enjoy delicious and traditional family cooking.
